Project: Black Night // about
The world we once knew is over.
The darkness that covers the world; that was the last thing many remembered.
The crushing force that wished to end their existence was like no other. No one had ever expected it to happen.
…
Ignoring the fact that such a thing happened seven years ago.
That day when we all died together, as if some higher being had finally had enough. Yet it seems very few remember the occurrence, and humanity lives on, as chaotic as always. The time period in which all was lost had vanished from existence, yet it was an undeniable fact.
The -requiem-, however, is harmless on its own, and can only be used when those with exceptional telepathic abilities exist in the same era. It is passed through blood, and thus usually remains in one particular family line.
Kate Owen is one such individual, while it was only through the cruel hand of fate that Symeon chose to tag along for the ride, wanting to be of help in some way, despite their first meeting not being the most pleasant.
Following clues and rumours, the pair have now found themselves following the road to one particular school in the middle of a forest; in the middle of nowhere. (Quite frankly, Kate had her doubts, even if it was the only lead they had.)
Yet, upon arrival, it becomes clear that something is wrong, and it may lead them to a couple of answers they’ve been searching for…

Black Night is, more or less, an insane project of mine that may never be completed, but it doesn’t hurt to try, I suppose. And who knows, I might get lucky this time.
Features include more of less what is expected in a visual novel; the occasional featured artwork, branching storylines (thus different endings) and the possibility of ending up with another character.
Being me
Naturally, the entire work is heavily text-based, while I’m stubborn, and so everything in the work will be done by me; except for music, because that would be impossible.
More than anything, I want to see where my characters go, how they develop as individuals (sadly, I’ve also come to realise how psychopathic Kate can be, a common trait in my female characters it seems OTL) and how the world around them works, how they react to it.
… Who knows, maybe this will be worth the effort after all.
